English Schools Regional Combined Events - North West 

Wigan had three athletes fighting for qualification to the English Schools Combined Events finals in the NW regional qualifiers. 

Senior Girl Amy Hewitt finished 6th, meaning Amy will qualify for the finals as part of the winning Greater Manchester team a great result following return from injury.

100m H 19.66, HJ 1.47, SP 8.88, 200m 28.24, LJ, 4.75, JT 27.83, 800m 3.12.65 Total 3172.

Lauren Hewitt also qualified for the finals as part of the Intermediate Girls winning Greater Manchester team finishing 6th with 3840 

80mH 12.96, HJ 1.41, SP 10.86, 200m 27.90, LJ 5.05, JT 22.79, 800m 2.46.67.

Sam Hodgkinson finished 10th in the Junior Boys Pentathlon, with a pb score of 2060.

80m H 13.69, SP 8.21 pb, LJ 5.03 pb, HJ 1.65, 800m 2.36.05.
