An intrepid team of athletes made the long trip to Carlisle for the final Upper YDL (U20&U17) match. A great team result in very wet conditions saw the club finish 3rd on the day and secure promotion with an overall league finish of 2nd.

U17 men had a win from Sami Manir-Jolly in the 1500m 4.37.0 plus second over 800m 2.10.2. Owen Baron won the 400m hurdles 63.6 before coming 3rd Javelin 25.88m and 4th Discus 18.09. Phoenix Oliver finished 5th 100m, 12.9 and 4th Shot 7.12.

Isobel also won the 300m in a pb 43.5 whilst Halle won the long jump in a pb 4.76m and second Triple Jump also a pb 9.84m. To round off the day the U17 women won both relays with Halle, Grace, Aimee Glenn and Holly taking the 4 x 100m in 53.1 and Aimee, Holly, Grace and Isobel winning the 4 x 300m

Amazing team effort everyone!
